Course Description

So, you’ve been commissioned from Impact 360 Gap Year. Amazing. What a year—probably hard to describe in some ways. But now, you’ve moved on to the next phase of discerning and preparing for the various vocations in which God will call you to serve during your lifetime.

This means finishing your education.

What are all the thoughts and feelings you’re experiencing as you transition from i360 to your current station? What are you excited about? What’s been hard? Ever find yourself wishing you could replicate SOME version of the i360 community where you are? If so, what would it take for you to do that? Maybe it sounds great, but feels too overwhelming to do anything about. How do you even begin to create space for yourself to think about these questions? Perhaps you’re just trying to survive.

Through this first-ever alumni-only course series offered by Impact 360 Scholars, you can get the help you need not just to survive, but to experience that same shalom you got a taste of during your gap year.

This is a two-course series. The first is “Strengths-Based Introspection: Reflecting on the Moments that Matter,“ and the second is “Cultivating Community: The Art of Hospitality.” When taken together, these courses will help you see more clearly how you grew in various ways during your gap year so that you can bring your strengths to your current context as you proactively build community there. These courses are designed in such a way that they can be completed in conjunction with your typical responsibilities, whether that means a job or university courses.

As you begin, pray that God will lead you and the others in your cohort to grasp hold of a compelling vision for shalom in your new environment. I will be praying the same.

Soli Deo Gloria,
